Yvana and Jason met at Robinhood in 2019 when the company's HR program ("Coffee Buddies") matched them for a meet & greet. They became friends and even went on a coffee date before life took them in different directions for a few years. In early 2023 they reconnected (via an Instagram DM) and each quickly realized that they had found their forever coffee buddy.

Jason proposed to Yvana at their home, surrounded by their family, friends, and pets. It was a birthday party for their dog, Pancake. Jason suggested recreating the picture they took with Pancake on the day he and Yvana met, and after crouching down for the picture Jason pulled out a ring and asked Yvana to marry him (and she said yes!).
